The pilot episode of the new Kapuso blocktimer musical-variety-game show premiered on August 9 titled “Sunday PinaSaya” won over its competitor with 9.2% TV ratings on NUTAM (Nationwide rating provider of AGB Nielsen) versus 6.7% of “ASAP 20″ based on the ratings shared by their official Twitter account on Monday. Another blocktimer “Wowowin” also scored 8.8%, higher than its competitor.
On Mega Manila, “Sunday PinaSaya” scored 22.7% and “Wowowin” got 22.3% while “ASAP 20” posted a rating of 11.5%. “Sunday All Stars” started at 12:00nn to 2:00pm (2 hours) and “Wowowin” at 2:00pm to 3:30pm (1 hour and 30 minutes) while “ASAP 19″ startedfrom 11:45am to 3:00pm (3 hours and 15 minutes).
“Sunday PinaSaya” promises to redefine the usual variety show, as it gives the viewers unparalleled production numbers featuring the hottest celebrities, comedy sketches and fun-filled games. Meanwhile, “Wowowin” will stay similar to the previous ones Willie Revillame had with the other TV networks.
