GMA Network just released their first teaser of “Marimar” showing Miss World 2013 Megan Young on a beach. “Marimar” is Megan’s first project after she signed a contract with GMA Network last March.

According to GMA Network, the new “Marimar” will have a different take from the hit telenovela done by Thalia.
Meanwhile, Tom Rodriguez will take on the role of Sergio Santibañez, Marimar’s love interest.
Marimar first aired in 1994 starring Thalia, a prominent Mexican singer-actress.
