Jovit Baldivino’s camp through his handler Jerry Telan issued a statement on DZMM’s “Mismo” hosted by Jobert Sucaldito and Ahwel Paz. The issue is about Wency Cornejo’s Facebook post pertaining to Jovit’s attitude during their recent regional show in in Labangal, General Santos City. According to him. hewas saddened that there is such a performer in the likes Jovit, who is disrespectful of musicians who are of seniors than him.

“Sabi niya, ‘Pusong Bato’ song ang issue. ‘Yung kantang ‘Pusong bato,’ andun ang original na kumanta, si Rene Alon. Nauna kasing sumalang si Jovit at nirequest ni Kagawad Bobby Pacquiao na duet sila. Cover song ni Jovit ang ‘Pusong Bato’ sa previous album niya at naging theme song ng ‘Juan dela Cruz.’ Hindi ako aware. Ang sa akin, walang nag-inform ng repertoire niya sa amin from their side. At hindi ako aware na kasama pala sa show until this issue arises. Kaloka!”
