UPDATE: The organizers of the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival has finally made its decision and its confirmed, that John Lloyd Cruz movie, “Honor Thy Father” also known as Conman, is officially joining the line up of movies for the MMFF.

In the report by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, a slot opened for the John Lloyd Cruz-starrer after director Gil Portes’ biopic Hermano Puli withdrew from the competition due to lack of resources.
Erik Matti directed the movie, it tells the story of a family caught in financial ruindue to their involvement in ponzi scheme. It also stars Dan Fernandez, Tirso Cruz III and Meryll Soriano.
