How true is it that James Reid turned down a fan request for photo ops at one of the Restaurants in BGC?
According to the fan of James Reid who even posted it on his Facebook account, he was texted by his friends that the actor was at the Bowery in BGC. According to him, he was an avid fan of the actor and he immediately went to the restaurant just to see his idol up close.
He also mentioned on his Facebook post that after building his confidence to approach the table of James Reid and ask the actor if they can have their picture taken with him but unfortunately, they were turned down by the actor saying “Not Today, Maybe Next Time”. He also mentioned Patrick Sugui apologizing, but not confirmed if he was with James Reid and Julia Barreto at that time.
The “James Reid” fan ranted on his Facebook account how he can’t fathom enough what is so hard about having a picture taken with them even emphasizing there was not a lot of people at the restaurant and they even approached the actor at his table.
Because of that incident, he now see the actor as arrogant citing the fact that maybe because the actor is already famous and because he is pretty occupied “kissing” and “flirting” with someone.
Personally, even actors has the right to deny requests if they do not feel like it and besides as a fan we should also check if it’s the perfect time to ask for a picture. It was mentioned that James is busy with something at that time, you should have just respected that and gave your “favorite actor” a chance to have fun and enjoy his personal time instead of barging in their moment and ask for a picture.
Lesson of the story, actors are as human like the rest of us and they also need their personal time. We as fans also need to respect that.
