The Voice Kids Season 2 Team Sarah and tagged as Chinito Crooner, Francis Ryan Lim officially signed a record and management deal with Homeworkz Music- the independent record label founded by platinum record, multi-award winning Filipino-American recording artist and known as the Philippines’ King of R&B, Jay-R.
Francis now belongs to Homeworkz Music growing roster of OPM artists, which include Breakthrough Artist Glaiza de Castro and rap duo Q-York.
Francis will be releasing his debut single within the month and expect an album soon. He wowed the coaches with his rendition of a Jackson original, “I’ll be There”, earning a three-chair turn from the coaches.
Before making it in the Blind Auditions of the second season of “The Voice Kids,” He has already appeared in a televised competition. In 2013, Lim joined “It’s Showtime’s” Pinoy Halo-Halo” where he competed against other global Filipino talents. He was eventually declared the Grand Champion after his hair-raising rendition of “Listen.”
