The “Metro Manila Film Festival Awards Night” has just finished. There were good stuff and there are allegedly some anomalies about the awards ceremony.
We are talking about the director of “Honor Thy Father”, Erik Matti. Hands down, the “Honor Thy Father” movie is one of the best in the festival this year, starring one of the most popular actors today, John Lloyd Cruz.
Director Erik Matti aired his disappointment on his Twitter account. Although he won as Best Director for “Honor Thy Father”, he doesn’t want to stop the issue with his winning a trophy from MMFF. Director Erik is so disappointed he even used the hashtags, #RIPMMFF and #MMFF2015Scandal.
The Twitterverse quickly notice his tweets and has gotten a good amount of retweets and likes.
This battle won’t end so easily as Director Erik Matti officially asked the help of the AlDub Nation to expose the alleged anomalies in the “Metro Manila Film Festival”. Some AlDub fans commented on his tweets that they got his back and will do what they can.
Director Erik made a series of tweets regarding the alleged MMFF scandal. On one tweet, he clearly stated that there was an MMFF organizer involved in the scandal. According to him, the answer lies on the list of winners.
Some people understand what Director Erik is doing. Some said he is making a point and they like it that he has the balls to do so. And it resulted to increase in his Twitter followers, from 4.7k to 10k, a sign that people will support him to get through all this.
