Fashion magazines Mega and Metro Mag came out with two identical covers, featuring two different actresses from the same network, according to Fashion Pulis. A casual glance at the covers show that this is true.

Soberano was the cover girl for Mega on its January issue while Bernardo graced the cover of Metro Mag on its February issue. Both actresses wore clothes of almost the same hue, surrounded by different flowers.
Bernardo has a more daring pose, with her right shoulder exposed and a bit of her cleavage showing. Soberano was shown in a more conservative pose compared to Bernardo.

Although the actresses had nothing to do with the theme of their magazine covers, they were both accused by some readers of being copycats. People are also asking if the two publications are sister publications.
The answer is a big NO. Mega and Metro Mag are owned by different media groups. Mega is published by One Mega Group Inc. founded by Sari Yap. Metro Mag, on the other hand, is the fashion magazine of ABS-CBN Publishing Inc, a division of ABS-CBN Corporation.
Because of the identical covers, a comparison between the two is unavoidable. Fans on social media are battling over who looked better with the usual bashing from both camps.
Soberano’s cover was shared on Instagram two weeks ago and got almost 1900 likes, while Bernardo’s cover was posted two days ago and has over 7000 likes as of this writing.
