Ai-Ai delas Alas for Jejomar Binay
Ai-ai delas Alas has openly announced her support for Vice President Jejomar Binay who hopes to become the next Philippine president. The comedienne was present in the first campaign for the United Nationalist Alliance’s proclamation rally and serves as a comic relief in an otherwise serious rally.
Ai-Ai said she was not paid for her appearance at the proclamation rally and added, “Mamatay man ako ngayon. O, tingnan niyo, buhay pa rin. Ibig sabihin, totoo.’ (“Even if I die today. Oh, hey look, I’m still alive. It means, it’s true.”) Ai-Ai delas Alas then asked Binay, Honasan, and Pacquaio to dance with her on-stage and the candidates obliged.
