‘Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay’ was an official entry to the 39th Metro Manila Film Festival in 2013. The film revolves around the superstitious belief that one should never go home right after visiting a wake. The Star Cinema horror entry featuring KathNiel swept the 2013 MMFF awards night by bagging the Best Picture Award, Best Actor Award for Daniel Padilla and Best Actress Award for Kathryn Bernardo.
