Almost a year ago, veteran broadcaster Pinky Webb has resigned from ABS–CBN News allegedly due to lack of projects. Webb kept her private life away from the public’s eyes for almost a year after she left Kapamilya Network.
And just yesterday, though it’s not shocking, but CNN Philippines’ tweet welcoming Pinky Webb, is still a revelation.
Even their Executive Vice President and Managing Editor Armie Jarin-Bennett can’t help but welcome their newest member.
Webb started her career in ABS-CBN News and moved up to anchor during her stint with the station. Other than delivering the news, Webb has co-hosted XXX: eXklusibong, eXplosibong eXpose, anchored TV Patrol Weekend and hosted several shows at ANC and worked in DZMM.
As of this writing, ABS-CBN and Pinky has not yet released any statement regarding this issue.
