The love team of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, better known as KimXi, is one of the hottest tandems in Philippine showbiz today.
Lately, they have been appearing on several tv shows, promoting their latest teleserye titled “The Story of Us” which already premiered on February 29.
It is obvious from their appearances that Kim and Xian are already very close and familiar with each other. Having been paired off since 5 years ago, their closeness shouldn’t come as a surprise.
But many fans are wondering now, how did they feel when they first met each other? In particular, they wanted to know how Xian felt when he first saw Kim, considering that Kim was already an established star when he entered showbiz?
In a video titled “The Kim and Xian Story” by ABS-CBN Star Cinema, Xian revealed what he felt when he first caught a glimpse of Kim.
Xian first saw Kim when he had a cameo appearance on the teleserye “My Girl”. Kim starred opposite Gerald Anderson for the said series which aired way back 2008.
According to Xian, he wanted to get near Kim Chiu then, but she was with a lot of companions. He just stealing glances at Kim every now and then, “sumusulyap-sulyap kay Kim”, as he described his first encounter with her.
He said that they started to know each other better on the set of “My Binondo Girl” in 2011, a romantic comedy drama where they first starred together. Xian said that during that time, they started telling each other stories, getting more familiar with each other.
According to Xian, he’s now able to ask Kim out for dinner. “Nasasamahan na nya ako kung saan saan (She’s able to accompany me to a lot of places). Xian also says that they have done what’s necessary to build a strong foundation for their relationship.
Looking at the two of them now, one can only say that Kim and Xian are so comfy with each other. If they’re not lovers yet, its apparent that they are at least, very, very close friends.
