Maxine Medina won this year’s Miss Universe Philippines, while Second Runner-up: Jehza Huelar and First Runner-up: Anjelica Alita; Nichole Manalo bagged Bb. Pilipinas – Globe. The Bb Pilipinas – Grand International crown went to Nicole Cordoves.
Aside from these three lovely ladies, their fellow 2016 winners have also made their own marks in their respective titles: Jennifer Hammond won the Bb Pilipinas – Intercontinental title; Kylie Versoza bagged Bb Pilipinas – International; and Joanna Eden bested other hopefuls as Miss Supranational 2016.
Just before the live coronation, Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach gave an emotional yet inspiring farewell speech live: “Behind that beautiful gown, your knees might be trembling but you have to remember that you are wearing that sash that says Philippines.”
“Dreams are pictures of a possibility, you should have a strong mind to turn it into reality.”

The winners will now start preparing for their respective dates of international representation.
