“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” never fails to impress us with their stories every night and this one’s their best so far…
On June 13 episode of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” Makmak (McNeal Briguela) was confronted by his Lola Flora (Susan Roces) as well as his Kuya Cardo (Coco Martin). Though there’s no coming out happened, at least Makmak knows now that his new family accepts him no matter what. Acceptance from the family is what important as it will shield Makmak from the cruel society.
Here’s their conversation:
Cardo: Mahal ka namin. At itinuturing ka namin bilang isang pamilya. Makmak, kahit ano ka pa, hindi ka namin pababayaan. Mamahalin ka namin makmak. Kung anuman ang totoong pagkatao mo, walang masama dun. Hindi masamang maging bakla.
Makmak: Talaga po?
Cardo: Makmak, ang importante sa tao, ‘yung marunong magmahal, ‘yung marunong rumespeto at may takot sa Diyos. At lahat ‘yun nakikita ko sa iyo. Kaya wala akong nakikitang masama sa kung anuman ang pagkatao mo. Naiintindihan mo ba ako?

I like how brave “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” to do such story. Here in LionhearTV, we highly commend “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” among all other teleseryes out there because this is the only existing show right now that promotes acceptance of people from all walks of life – promoting Filipino values, gender sensitivity, work dignity, family-oriented, etc. and his is what we call a QUALITY show!
