Ryza Cenon is one of the “Starstruck” alumni who really deserve a break from GMA Network. In terms of loyalty, she’s been with GMA Network for over a decade now and we’ve never seen her being a lead in a teleserye.
In an interview with PEP, Ryza wasn’t shy to admit that she already thought of suicide last year. “Almost one year din kasi akong walang work. Mag-isa lang din ako na binubuhay yung sarili ko. Sobrang na-depress ako. May time na iniisip ko talagang mag-suicide.”
The kapuso actress even tried to commit suicide but because of her fear to God, nothing’s succesful. “May [suicide] attempt lang ako, pero hindi ko siya kaya gawin. Takot pa rin ako kay God kasi alam kong mali siya.”
With the help of a fan, Ryza is still overcoming depression through paintings. Her first painting exhibit ‘Independencia: Ang Simula’ started yesterday (June 9) in Guevarra’s, San Juan.
