We thought, the ‘Tatlong Bibe’ craze started with ABS-CBN’s hit daytime teleserye “Be My Lady” until we watched “Kapuso Mo Jessica Sojo” episode aired on May 22 on GMA Network.
Jessica’s spiel on the episode was, “Mula nung itinampok namin (May 1) ang pagpapauso ng ‘Tatlong Bibe’ nursery rhyme, tila mas marami pa ang naki-Bibe Fever.”

This statement from the host earned ire especially from those who really know where it all started. Unfortunately, despite the many corrections posted on their verified page, the admin still ignored these comments from their followers.
For the knowledge of the researcher, based on digital timeline, it was first featured in Erich Gonzales-Daniel Matsunaga starrer “Be My Lady.” It was actually the No Direction, Roger, Arsing, and Badong who taught Phil (Daniel Matsunaga) that they can make the livestock behave through song and dance using the children song ‘Tatlong Bibe.’
A clip below uploaded on March 1 is a proof. Vice Ganda eventually used the song in “It’s Showtime” and “GGV” boosting the popularity of the song.
