KBP Golden Dove Awards Best Public Service Program host Karen Davila will meet the couple running Gibson’s Shoes in this Tuesday’s (July 19) episode of the award-winning ABS-CBN current affairs program “My Puhunan.”
Founded by Gavino Cruz and Ramona Salvador, the shoe-making company has been in business since 1945, and is a popular choice for kids’ shoes before becoming an international quality footwear that also provides boots to military and law-enforcing outfits, including the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Their daughter, Leonor and husband Tony Andres, who are now running the shoe giant, will give Davila a close look at how they manufacture their high-quality kicks, as well as their newer brands like Gibson’s Kids and Antonio Manila, among others.
