DJ and social media personality Jellie Aw drew mixed reactions online after she appeared to poke fun at memes circulating about her amid renewed speculation that she has reconciled with her ex-boyfriend, Jam Ignacio.

The online buzz began after Ignacio shared an Instagram Story featuring a photo of Jellie, accompanied by the caption, “Shout out sa tao hindi ako iniwan. Alam mo ‘yan kung gaano kita ka mahal. Mahal na mahal kita.” The post quickly fueled assumptions among netizens that the two may have gotten back together.
Jellie later responded to the online chatter through a series of Facebook posts that many interpreted as playful and sarcastic. In one comment addressing the criticism she was receiving, she wrote, “Kakatuwa, dami n’yong time sa buhay ko. Kung si Lord nga nagpapatawad, what more pa na tayong anak Niya lang?”
She followed this with another post announcing a giveaway for 10 followers as additional funds for Noche Buena, writing, “GOOD MORNING! GUSTO KO LANG NAMAN MAMIGAY NG GCASH & MAGSHARE NG BLESSING PANG DAGDAG SA NOCHE BUENA BAKIT G NA G YUNG IBA? MASAMA PO BANG MAGPATAWAD?”
As memes about her situation began circulating online, Jellie leaned into the jokes by posting photos and videos seemingly inspired by them. In one image, she appeared submerged inside a large water drum, while another showed her inside a suitcase.
“Ok na? Happy na kayo? BWAHAHAHAHAAHAAHHA,” she wrote in one caption. In another post, she added, “Selfie muna. Drum at maleta na ‘yan ah! Baka gigil pa din kayo? Ok Jam pakisara na. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
The memes and her reactions drew laughter from some netizens, while others expressed concern, referencing the serious incident earlier this year involving the former couple.
In February, Jellie filed a complaint with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) against Ignacio after alleging she was physically assaulted inside a vehicle. The incident sparked widespread public discussion on domestic abuse, after Jellie shared photos of her bruised face on social media. Ignacio later apologized publicly and appealed for reconciliation.
As of this writing, neither Jellie Aw nor Jam Ignacio has issued an official statement confirming whether they have indeed reconciled or if Ignacio’s post was merely an expression of sentiment.
