“Wowowin” sharing the daytime lead with “Eat Bulaga!” and “Encantadia” beating “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” anew.
In the latest AGB Nielsen Urban Luzon survey covering August 17 – 19, 2016, Kapuso game show soared to daytime number 1 again sharing the top spot with consistent leader “Eat Bulaga!”.
On Wednesday August 17, “Wowowin” registerd 19.3% ratings tying “Eat Bulaga!” in the daytime top spot. But the surge is short lived as “Wowowin” goes back to the number 2 position again on Thursday and Friday leaving “Eat Bulaga!” in the solo lead again.
On primetime, “Encantadia” once again beats “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”, landing on top of the primetime rankings.
Also on Wednesday, “Encantadia” finally got the break it needs as it breaks away from the number 3 position to top the primetime board. “Encantadia’s” 26.3% was very good enough ratings to reach the coveted number 1 spot and beat prime rival “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” which fell on the 3rd place with 24.7%.
This is only the 2nd time that “Encantadia” topped primetime rankings after their debut episode and 3rd time only to beat “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”. “24 Oras” placed in between the two with 25.9% on that same day.
But the Kapuso telefantasya didn’t last long on top as Kapamilya action drama teleserye immediately bounced back on Thursday and Friday. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” immediately regained primetime leadership on August 18 and 19 with 25.9% and 24.1% ratings sending “Encantadia” back to its previous position in number 3 with 23.3% and 23.5% respectively. “24 Oras” remained in the number 2 spot with 23.6% on both days.
