Kapamilya star Joseph Marco said he understands Liza Soberano’s remark about his abs.
In an interview with entertainment site Push, Joseph asked, “How old is Liza—eighteen (or) nineteen?
“S’yempre ano ba namang i-expect mo? Sobrang bata pa n’ung tao,” he said.
“Alangan naman na… 18 years old, 19 years old, mahilig na sa abs. Medyo parang off naman ‘yon.”
Joseph stressed that people have different preferences, “I think kanya-kanya naman ng preferences, you know, may mga tao na gusto ng abs, may mga taong s’yempre ayaw ng abs. It’s normal”
He further explained he also loves a woman without abs.
“Kasi para saken, kunyari (sa) babae, ayaw ko rin ng may abs. Gusto ko yung flat din ‘yung tyan. ‘Yung sexy lang.”
Asked if he didn’t feel awkward on Liza’s statements, the actor clarified “Hindi naman, kasi nirespeto ko yung side n’ya.”
In the media launch of film “My Ex and Whys,” Liza revealed she doesn’t want a man with toned abs. The actress also recalled that she felt awkward when she saw Joseph’s abs when they were taping “Dolce Amore.”
