Netizens were enraged by the action of the girl, describing how rude she was after she declined the proposal and walked away from the crowd, leaving his boyfriend heartbroken.

His name is Jon Tse, an Australian-based online artist. Tse thanked the people who have showed their supports on him.
“Thank you so much for all your support and kind words. It really means a lot to me,” he said.
However, he clarified that the “failed proposal” was actually one of the scenes from his short film, which is set to be uploaded on his official Facebook page.
Tse said, “That’s actually a scene as a part of the upcoming short film that I am making.”
He then showed Akiko, the girl who “broke” his heart, as they smiled together to remind fans that nothing should be worry about.
The Australian artist didn’t expound the highlights of his short, “Ang Pagdadrama ni Marikit Ganda.”
Nonetheless, the scene was proved to be heart-wrenching since it captured the emotions of the netizens.
