Sen. Tito Sotto got burned (figuratively) by a Facebook user on February 18.
Rexie Robles Tamayo, the netizen who condemned Sotto, addressed the senator’s remarks about the controversial cross-dressing of the transgenders.
Tamayo posted a photo of Kalyeserye casts sans Alden Richards with a long caption, questioning the comment of the senator during his debate with Congresswoman Geraldine Roman over the ‘transgender issue’ in the senate.
She recalled Sotto’s remarks and began questioning “Eat Bulaga!” for allowing cross-dressing in their segment Kalyeserye.
Tamayo also cited the noontime show’s other segments for promoting cross-dressing such as Bebot and Super Sireyna.
Also, the netizen reminded Sotto that his fellow hosts are also consistent when it comes to cross-dressing. First, she cited Michael V for wearing female dresses every Saturday.

Tamayo said that “Eat Bulaga!” is indirectly speaking to young homosexuals that their sexual preferences are just fine as long as they remain comedic reliefs for the “normal people.”

Sa totoong buhay may mga batang trans na may gender dysphoria. May mga teenagers na trans na binubully at nagpapakamatay. May mga Transgenders na pinapagtripan, tinotorture, nire-rape, pinapatay, at sila ang dahilan kung bakit kailangan ng batas na nagbabawal sa discrimination.
Pero hindi lang yan, sir, sa totoong buhay ang mga transgender ay may silbi sa lipunan bukod sa comedic relief. May mga transgenders na doctor, nurse, teachers, accountants, artists, politicians, etc. Mga taong nagbabayad ng buwis. Mamamayan ng Pilipinas. Tulad mo. Tao.
She then followed her post with a brief history on how “Eat Bulaga!” promotes immorality.
Tamayo recalled a segment where Tito Sotto and his brother Vic Sotto, together with Joey de Leon were talking to each other while a girl named Gracia Labandera had been bathing as she splits.
She asked: “Anong punto non bukod sa sexualization?”
Moreover, Tamayo continued by stressing the Sexbomb Dancers for almost wearing bras and panties while shouting their famous line “get, get, awww!” on live television.
She ended her post by saying, “Kung masamang impluwensya lang, nako, top contender kayo, pramis.”
As the “transgender issue” becoming bigger and bigger, we hope that anyone should respect each other’s opinions. Furthermore, we believe that everyone in this world, whether you’re straight or not, have the rights to live happily and stress-free.
