Many of our local celebrities have spent their Holy Week by just going to beach or by visiting various places locally or overseas.
But comedienne Aiai delas Alas has chosen to stay at home in observance for Holy Week. Last Monday, April 10, the 52-year old has started her ‘Pabasa 2017.’ It has been her tradition since 2012.
On her Instagram account, Aiai reminded her followers about what she believes is the true meaning of Holy Week.
She shared a photo, rasterized with texts that could be read as, “Holy Week is not for beach escapades, parties, trips, vacations. It’s time to pray. Visit a Catholic church near you.”
According to some reports, Aiai will take vacation after the Holy Week and after the promotion of her film “Mighty Yaya”.
