Famous actress-singer Agot Isidro is a known for being vocal on her opinions regarding the Duterte administration. Because of this, she have been receiving hate from the many supporters of the President.
It can be recalled that Agot stood her grounds on various issues such as the Philippines’ ties with other countries and the death penalty.
Duterte once again put himself on a heated place when he made a remark at the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade in Iligan City last Friday.
According to him, he would own up any punishment his soldiers would face if they ever violate laws.
“I will go to jail for you. If you happen to have raped three women, I will own up to it.”
Unhappy audience
Because of this “rape-related” statement which he later categorized as a joke, many government officials got disappointed.
There were also celebrities that were not pleased by the President’s words. One of them is Agot, who tweeted her reaction on the issue.
Surely enough, the haters came flooding her replies.
