Last Sunday, April 30, GMA Network aired its newest series “Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko”, a children-fantasy show that is believed to be the newest rival of ABS-CBN’s “Wansapanataym”.
The story opens with Grasya the Taong Grasa (street vagrant), played by Kapuso actress Marian Rivera.
Grasya was a beautiful woman from an well-established family. However, when her mom died, her envious sibling, Lucia, played by Ana Feleo, didn’t fulfill her promise to take care of Grasya. Instead, Lucia took her younger sister somewhere so she can live her life all by herself.
Grasya eventually became a street vagrant, a beggar in layman’s term, as the story progressed. But netizens love her transformation nonetheless.
Kapuso fans on Twitter couldn’t help but yo praise the beauty of the Kapuso Primetime Queen. According to some tweets, Marian’s beauty really standout even in her most dirtiest costume.
Meanwhile, “Daig Ka Ng Lola Ko” scored 8.5% of rating versus “Wansapanataym’s” 9.5%, according to AGB Nielsen; and received a rating of 17.8% versus rival’s 29.5%, based on Kantar Media.
