Singer Richard Reynoso’s criticism towards Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla didn’t sit well with the latter’s fan.
On April 30, the singer slagged Daniel’s performance on Binibining Pilipinas through his Facebook account.
Three days after Richard’s post went viral, a fan of Daniel expressed her disapproval with the singer.
Richard, however, clarified that he didn’t attack the “Can’t Help Falling in Love” star personally. According to him, “[P]agpuna yun… sa performance [ni Daniel].” He also added, “Bilang kasamahan sa industrya, kailangan din naming punahin at i-criticize ang gawa ng iba para na rin sa ikabubuti nya.”
Richard also made Karla Estrada, Daniel’s mom, as one of his examples. He wrote, “Again, opinyon ko po yun. Na ginagawa din naman ng nanay [ni Daniel] sa Tawag ng Tanghalan para sa ikagagaling ng mga bagong singers.”
In the end, Richard apologized to the fan if she felt offended by his remarks towards Daniel.
