Star Cinema’s upcoming movie, “Darna”, has been the talk of the town since actress Angel Locsin dropped the role of the Pinay superhero due to her spinal damage.
The Action-Drama Queen then passed the coveted role to this generation’s one of the most sought-after actresses, Liza Soberano, who recently slayed the film industry with her film “My Ex and Whys” with onscreen partner Enrique Gil.
Now that Liza is confirmed to be the one who will be donning the red-and-white costume, it’s inevitable for people to speculate Enrique as the one who will portray Captain Barbell, another Mars Ravelo creation.
But for Quen, he has yet to receive an offer from Star Cinema. During his interview with ABS-CBN News, he revealed, “I don’t know wala pa naman pong nababanggit sa akin. If the opportunity comes, yeah!”
According to Enrique, he is set to do an action TV series with Liza; probably “Bagani”; and a film sans Liza to be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
