- Now officially a Kapamilya, Richard will be playing a role of vampire in “La Luna Sangre.”
From playing numerous title roles on GMA Network and TV5, Richard Gutierrez’s comeback project, now on ABS-CBN, will be “a Luna Sangre” topbilled by ABS-CBN’s hot properties Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
His role Sandrino the King of Vampires, is definitely the main antagonist of “La Luna Sangre.”
When asked about his feeling being a support to KathNiel, Richards answered, “Now that I grew as a man, I don’t really look at it that way. I look at it in a way that I have a good project, it’s a good role for me, and I’m working together with the best team and were going to offer the audience something great and something new.”
He added, “For the young love team (KathNiel), I will support them kasi pinagdaanan ko rin ‘yun. I had people supporting my back before so it’s my time to give back.”

“La Luna Sangre” is the third installment of the hit fantasy franchise, after “Lobo” and “Imortal,” both produced by Star Creatives.
Aside from “La Luna Sangre,” Richard is also slated to do a movie with Angelica Panganiban and former loveteam Angel Locsin under Star Cinema.
