- “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” child star, Awra Briguela, dismissed rumors about fellow actor Onyok Pineda’s exit in the top-rating show.
- He denied that Onyok got booted from FPJAP because of issues between the management and his mother.
Awra Briguela is the new child actor to topbill the upcoming fantasy series of ABS-CBN’s “Wansapanatym” entitled “Amazing Ving.” Joining Awra is former PBB housemate Kisses Delavin.
During the press conference for the show, Awra was not able to dodge questions regarding his fellow child star in the high-rating primetime serye “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”, Onyok Pineda.
Rumors spread that the child star was removed from the show because of a rift between the management and his mother.
This was immediately denied by Awra through an interview with pep.ph. It was also earlier dismissed by the lead actor of the show himself, Coco Martin, who said Onyok just wanted to go back to school.
“Ang totoo naman po talaga, gustong mag-aral ni Onyok. Hindi po sa mother niya.
“At ako po, ayokong makisawsaw o makisali sa isyu ni Onyok.”
Awra even commented that he’s happy for his co-star because he always catch him on-set studying.
“Sa tent namin, sa dressing room, may mga dala siyang libro.
“Gusto talaga niyang mag-aral at napakatalinong bata niya.”
