- Ex-teen star John Wayne Sace left the limelight several years ago
- He admits to being a former drug user in his interview with “Rated K”
In his recent exclusive interview with Korina Sanchez for “Rated K,” ex-teen actor John Wayne Sace shares his rough experience with drugs before.
He said that he already tasted almost all kinds of illegal substances in the past including shabu and marijuana.
John Wayne was also formerly part of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Oplan Tokhang. His name was in the list of drug suspects.
Last October 2016, he was involved in a gun encounter with the police where he got shot and wounded. His accompanying friend, Erik Sabino, got killed in the incident.
However, he’s glad to tell people now that he’s already recovering from his addiction and wants to begin fixing his life.
“Ang pagbabago magsisimula rin sayo eh, sa sarili mo.”

John Wayne starred in various ABS-CBN shows like “Guns and Roses,” and “Spirits.” He was also part of the 2011 indie movie “Pintakasi” and the 2002 film “Dekada ’70.”
