The “Ikaw Lang ang Iiibigin” star recently shared a video of his visit to the wounded soldiers of the Philippine Army who went to Marawi on his Instagram account.

It can’t be denied that the actor does have a soft spot for the Pinoy soldiers. He says that he salutes the soldiers for all the sacrifices they’ve given the country just so we would be assured of our safety as well as keeping peace in our land.
On the said video, Gerald was seen shaking hands with the wounded soldiers, conversing with them, knowing how they’re doing and even giving them groceries too. Gerald wrote in caption: “Hukbong Katihan ng Pilipinas #woundedsoldiers.” He was with a couple of his friends and staff of the Philippine Army.
After hearing the soldiers’ stories, Gerald said that he find their stories so inspiring. He also showed them the trailer of the new military film AWOL. He was happy to bring them high moral after everything they’ve done for us.
