“It’s Showtime” host Vhong Navarro faces another threat in court as model Deniece Cornejo files her complaint regarding what happened between them in her condominium last January 2014.
Journalist Tony Calvento posted the affidavit on Facebook, July 9. It showed the detailed appeal of Deniece about the alleged sexual harrassment she suffered from Vhong.
This is the model’s third attempt to file a rape case against him after being jailed for serious illegal detention with friend Cedric Lee.
Vhong’s counsel Alma Mallonga reacted towards the affidavit saying, “We have, in fact, been urging the DOJ to dismiss the third complaint, for the same reasons that the first two complaints for rape filed by Deniece had already been DISMISSED by the DOJ itself and by the City Prosecutor of Taguig (Taguig OCP): the claim for rape was found to be unbelievable, illogical, ‘astonishing and incredible as it is contrary to human frailty.’”
However, Deniece is persistent and determined to get the justice she wants. In her statements, she cited that she received “bacterial vaginosis” or”vaginal infection” from the host.

Tony also followed up that Vhong will be arrested this week.
Still, the host’s camp remains firm on their stand. They believe that sooner or later this case will be dismissed in court due to “falsehood.”
