- Thus, they can’t help but be physically close to each other during the said activity.
Vice Ganda has already apologized to Mccoy publicly the very next day. Mccoy said he understood that it was something that Vice didn’t really meant to do in the first place. He also denied that Vice had actually ‘touched’ his private, he says it does look like he did on TV but it’s not really the case.
Hashtag member Mccoy de leon finally broke his silence on the issue pertaining to TV host Vice Ganda who ‘accidentally touched’ his private part during an activity on one segment on the noontime program, “It’s Showtime.”

Mccoy clarified that first and foremost, it’s not really his private part that was accidentally ‘touched’ by Vice Ganda’s hand. “It appeared on TV that it was, but it’s not really my private that was reached by his hand, rather it was my thigh. Although on TV, it appeared as though it was my private, but that’s not really what happened,” said Elise Joson’s love team partner.
Mccoy said it wasn’t really a big deal for him because there’s really nothing to it. “Tinatawanan lang namin ‘yun. Turing niya sa akin ay parang anak na niya at sa akin, parang ate ko na lang siya. Wala po talagang malice between us. Vice is a good friend of mine, ‘yung tipong nasasabihan ko pa nga siya ng problema ko,” reveals Mccoy.
Everything was simply blown into proportion because it was seen live on national TV. When Vice Ganda was called out by the MTRCB to explain the said episode, he said, “I really don’t think there’s an issue. Wala pong dapat ikabahala kasi unang-una, hindi naman po ‘yun sinasadya. Ikalawa, wala naman kasing nangyari na hindi maganda. Dala lang ng kuha ng kamera kaya’t akala ng lahat nahawakan niya [Vice] yung hindi dapat.”
Mccoy’s friendship with Vice wasn’t even affected by it. “Tinatawanan lang namin kasi nga, there’s no truth to it. Sa hita ko lang talaga tumama yung kamay niya. Katuwaan lang siya talaga, napalaki lang dahil nga ganun tingin ng mga tao sa TV sets nila,” explains Mccoy.
Everything’s under the bridge now. They have moved on with the said issue. “Hindi naman kami naapektuhan ni Ate Vice. Okay pa rin kami. Wala naman kaming ilangan. Wala po talagang problema between us. We’re very okay. Sobrang mahal na mahal ko kaya si Ate Vice,” said Mccoy.
Mccoy defends Vice saying that the Unkabogable star was simply misunderstood. “Namalik-mata lang yung mga tao kasi effect yun ng pagkuha sa nagle ng kamera. Pero pramis po, sa hita ko lang talaga siya tumama,” said Mccoy.
