“That’s My Bae” Kim Last noticeably lost a lot of weight. But he said his love life was not the reason why he is shedding some pounds. Though he admitted he has broken up with his ex girlfriend, Kim said he realized he needed to set his priorities accordingly. And he knew his career had to be his top priority than his love life.
Kim shared that they are very casual after the break up as they still see eacg other at work. “Nagkikita pa rin kami sa ‘Eat Bulaga’. Friends pa rin naman kami, pero alam na niya na career first,” Kim revealed.
One thing he realized, he simply do not have time balance work and romance. “Actually, when I got into Sunday Pinasaya, that’s when I learned na wala pala akong free time,” he relates during an interview with Abante columnist Jun Nardo.
He said he need to re-focus his goals after these realizations. “Sinabi ko sa sarili ko na pumunta ako ng Pilipinas para magtrabaho at hindi para magkaroon ng love life. ‘Yun talaga ang mindset ko. Career talaga,” Kim said.
Aside from Sunday Pinasaya, Kim is also part of GMA Network’s morning show “Trops” with fellow “That’s My Bae” talent, Joel Palencia.
Just recently, Palencia’s alleged photo scandals flooded the internet.
“Sa ‘Eat Bulaga lang siya [Palencia] nawala. Pero babalik din naman siya. Alam naman namin kasing hindi totoo ‘yung scandal niya. Kailangan lang ng aksiyon,” Kim defended
When asked if he too have a similar sex scandal, Kim jokingly said that he will be making one soon. Kim warned: “Hintayin nila. Gagawin ko ‘yon pag sixty years old na ako. Ha! Ha! Ha! Wala, wala akong ganoon,” he laughed.
