Bayani Agbayani refused to take over a position in the Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) due to his very busy schedule.
Aside from his upcoming movie with Vhong Navarro and Lovi Poe, “Woke up like this,” Agbayani is also blessed with Kawasaki provincial tours, a sitcom and a series with Robin Padilla and Jodi Sta. Maria.
It was commendable when Bayani told the press during the “Woke up like this” blogcon held last August 10 at Valencia Events Place, that he doesn’t want to commit on something he won’t be able to live up with.
“Edi parang niloloko ko naman yung binabayad sa akin na taxes ng mga tao,” he said in his interview with Pep.ph.
It was 2016 when the appointment papers were released. He immediately declined the offer citing his work schedule.
He mentioned that it would not be easy for him since it demand more time from him so Bayani decided to stick with his showbiz commitments than jump over a government post.
Meantime, Bayani is now under the management of Boy Abunda after his long-time manager Cornelia ‘Angge’ Lee passed away last March.
He still prefers having a manager since they have more connections and for a more organized work schedule.
