Due to conflict in schedules, Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador were forced to let go of their respective roles in the upcoming Kapamilya drama series “The Good Son.”
According to Janella, they had to pull out because the story suddenly changed snd was different from what they first agreed on.
It was recently reported that Jerome Ponce and Loisa Andalio will take over the abandoned characters of ElNella.
The show was formerly titled “Kung Kailangan Mo Ako” but was soon replaced. Its first-ever teaser video aired yesterday, August 15.
“The Good Son” stars Joshua Garcia, and his troubled relationship with an absent father played by veteran actor Albert Martinez.
The story begins when Albert’s character passes and his son was adopted by his legal family, composed of Eula Valdes, Jerome, and Nash Aguas.
The series’ trailer showed other cast members Elisse Joson, Alexa Ilacad, McCoy de Leon, and other Kapamilya artists.
“The Good Son” will serve as a reunion for Joshua, Loisa, and Jerome as they were once a love triangle in a previous afternoon series “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita?”
Jerome and Loisa were formerly paired together in a special episode of “Wansapanataym.”
“The Good Son” still has no airing date.
Meanwhile, Elmo and Janella are setting their eyes on their big screen project “My Fairy Tail Love Story” under Regal Films.
