A 22-year old Filipina is rocking The X factor UK.
She was Alisah Bonaobra, a former runner up of “The Voice of the Philippines.”
“I first started singing when I was five and since then I’ve never stopped,” she shared.
We don’t have enough money for ourselves,” she added.
On her audition, Alisah brought justice to Beyonce’s hit song Listen. After her performance, Judge Nicole Scherzinger immediately remarked, “You’re so tiny!” She further added that, “It made her cry because she too (Nicole) came from humble beginnings.”
Simon Cowell also asked, “What does this mean to you?”
“This X Factor journey is very memorable for me because I dedicate this fight for my family way back in the Philippines. I’m only here because of my mother’s friend, who contributed enough money for a plane ticket, just to audition here,” she said.
