PHILIPPINES (September 21, 2017) – Contestants are scared out of their wits as they take turns in riding a haunted elevator for the opportunity to win cash prizes in the frightening game show Hellevator, which premieres on AXN this October.
The eight-episode game show begins when a team of three friends ride the “Hellevator” into the depths of an abandoned slaughterhouse. Once onboard, they each individually take on three floors of horror challenges following a weekly-changing narrative that increase in difficulty and worth. One player must get out on each floor and complete a challenge to earn money for the team. However, if they don’t make it back in time, then the elevator will move on without them.
In The Labyrinth, the final challenge, the remaining surviving contestants must work together to face their most difficult and terrifying challenge in a mad-dash race to accumulate more money. Participants can earn up to $50,000 in cash for a perfect game.
The show, from the producers of the “Paranormal Activity” film franchise, is hosted by horror film icons Jen and Sylvia Soska.
Hellevator premieres on October 2, every Monday at 9:45pm. First & Exclusive on AXN.
