‘Kalad Karen’ was originally a writer of TAPE Inc.’s noontime show “Eat Bulaga”
Netizens are loving this YouTuber who goes by the name ‘Kalad Karen,’ for his almost perfect impersonation of veteran “TV Patrol” news anchor Karen Davila’s reporting.
On a video clip that became viral last September 4, the social media user went on a trip to a river around Tanay, Rizal and made a spoof “coverage,” patterning to Karen’s now defunct documentary show “The Correspondents” that ran from 1998 to 2010.
Even the voice had the resemblance! This is why netizens wanted Karen herelf to recognize the impersonator so they tagged her on the spoof video’s link.
The reporter reacted on the clip, saying that it gave her nostalgic feels of her “The Correspondents” days.

Karen also complimented ‘Kalad Karen,’ “Absolute good vibes! Ang galing niya!! Made me miss The Correspondents! Congrats Kalad Karen!”
