Apart from being an award-winning make up artist, Nilo Cruz also does concert promotions for some artists.
Recently, Nilo received hate and ridicule messages from the #KissMarc fandom after promoting the show of Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber in Taiwan.
The #KissMarc fandom was allegedly enraged that the project was given to #MayWard instead of #KissMarc.
“Sa mga nagbash sa akin na fans ng @kissmarc gusto ko maintidihan nyo na bilang concert promoter ng artista. Wala po ako kinalaman sa kung anung nararamdaman nyo. At gusto ko lang din ipaalam sa inyo na respetuhin nyo kameng mga nagbibigay ng trabaho sa mga iniidolo nyo po. Di yung pinagmumura nyo ako.
“Kaya kung sino man po na mga artista ang bigyan ko ng shows. Pls. Lang po pakisupport na lang po. Salamat. Wala po kaalam alam ang artista nyo sa ganito kabastos na fans nila. Mahiya naman po kayo sa sarili nyo kung meron pa po kayong natitirang respeto sa sarili nyo. Salamat. GOD BLESS. #kissmarc #mayward”
Although Nilo replied to some of the harsh comments, he urged everyone to just keep supporting other artists instead of trying to bring them down.
