During the press conference for IdeaFirst’s “The Write Moment,” lead star Jerald Napoles was asked for his reaction regarding the comparison between him and Empoy Marquez, this year’s banner star for the Blockbuster movie “Kita Kita” with Alessandra de Rossi.
In “The Write Moment,” Jerald plays Dave, a scriptwriter while Valeen Montenegro portrays the role of Joyce, his ex-girlfriend. Jerald’s character will use his recent breakup as an inspiration to write a script.

“The Write Moment” is one of the entries competing on this year’s QCinema International Film Festival. Written and directed by Dominic Lim, “The Write Moment” is showing beginning October 20 in select cinemas nationwide.
