Philippine television has been on a tug o wag during the first half of the year.
With ratings methodology shifting from NUTAM Household to NUTAM People, TV ratings showed mix ruling by ABS-CBN and GMA Network.
Quarter 1 is known as NUTAM Household until it was changed in Quarter 2 with NUTAM People.
GMA Network’s coverage of Miss Universe 2016 was crowned as the most watch TV program in the first half. The Miss Universe 2016 telecast registered a ratings of 27.1%. France’s Iris Mittenaere was crowned 2016 Miss Universe held at the Mall of Asia Arena on January 29, 2017.
It was followed by ABS-CBN’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and Encantadia with 24.0%. And Your Face S0unds Familiar Kids in third place with 22.5%.

Meanwhile, for All day NUTAM People survey, Encantadia topped the rankings with 12.2% followed by FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano with 11.5% and Your Face Sounds Familiar’s Grand Showdown on 3rd with 11.1%.

Here are the 10 Shows All day (NUTAM People)
For the Daytime rankings, GMA Network’s Miss Universe 2016 topped the rankings with 27.1% ratings, followed by Kapuso afternoon drama Ika-6 Na Utos which scored 16.6% and GMA Network’s Koreanovela The Big One completed the top 3 with 16.3%.

For NUTAM Household’s primetime rankings, ABS-CBN’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and GMA Networks Encantadia are tied in the number one spot with 24.0% followed by Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids with 22.5% and Kapuso primetime newscast 24 Oras in 3rd with 21.4%.

Meanwhile, for NUTAM People ratings, daytime ranking is led by Kapuso lenten special Son of God which scored 10.9%. It was followed by anothe Holy week presentation My Lady Boss which posted10.5% and The Ten Commandments in third with 10.2%.

While FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and Encatadia are tied on NUTAM Household Primetime rankings, Encantadia took the solo lead under NUTAM People ratings. Encantadia topped NUTAM People’s primetime ratings board with 12.2% followed by FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano with 11.5% and Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids Grand Showdown with 11.1%
