As the network’s claim to be the original home of Asianovelas, ABS-CBN proudly announced that they already earned the rights to air the upcoming reamake of hit Taiwanese TV series, “Meteor Garden.”
The remake will features Darren Cheng, Dylan Wang, Connor Leong and Caesar Wu as the new ‘F4.’
The “Meteor Garden” remake will set to air on 2018 in Taiwan.
In 2003, the Kapamilya network also aired the original “Meteor Garden” series which starred Taiwanese stars Barbie Shu, Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu.
The network also aired the Korean version of the soap titled Boys Over Flowers in 2009 which helped catapult Lee Min Ho to popularity in Asia.
The story is based by the Japanese Manga Hana Yori Dango.
