Kathryn recalls that in the last Bench show, she was wearing a dress. Now, she reveals her midriff and even had an adorable kiss on the chin from Daniel Padilla.
However, netizens couldn’t help but compare the reaction of the audience between Kathryn and Julia Montes. When Kathryn strutted down the runway, the audience was screaming. The screams grew louder when Daniel walked with her then kissed her chin. When Julia went out the runway, the reaction was just neutral applause.
When Kathryn was asked for a reaction about this, she said, “Minsan hindi mo naman mababase ‘yan sa sigawan ng mga tao. Hindi naman sa dami ng pumapalakpak sa’yo.”
She also added, “Of course, kami ni Julia, magkaiba kami. Kasi, siya ngayon ang sa pang-primetime na panghapon, na nakuha ni Julia sa Doble Kara. Lahat na-amaze sa performance niya. Wala akong masabi sa hirap at nagawa niya sa show na yun. Proud ako kay Juls kasi lahat nakakaya niya.”
Kathryn also confirmed that she never lost contact with Julia. She confirmed that they still text a lot from time to time.
