Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo expressed gratitude to her fans for respecting her personal and professional decisions amid persistent speculation about her private life.

This comes as rumors continue to circulate linking her to Lucena Mayor Mark Alcala. The two have been spotted together on several occasions, most recently at a restaurant in Rockwell, Makati. However, neither has issued an official statement regarding their relationship.
Speaking at a recent event for a local bank she endorses, Kathryn shared how much she values the trust her fans have placed in her over the years.
“[My fans] trust me with the projects that I do, the way I want to present myself, and even the decisions I make, even if they don’t always agree,” she said.
She emphasized that genuine support is rooted in respect and understanding.
“I think doon na pumapasok yung respeto, na if you really trust me, you have to allow me to grow and allow me to make mistakes and learn from my mistakes.”
According to the actress, that freedom to evolve — even imperfectly — is what she appreciates most about her supporters.
Aside from her fans, Kathryn also thanked the brands she works with for allowing her to stay authentic.
“Na-appreciate ko ‘yung fans and ‘yung brands na nakakatrabaho ko na they don’t try to change me, parang they just give their support. They let me fly. I’m just grateful to my fans who stayed with me through the good times, especially the not-so-good times.”
She underscored that the trust given to her is something she protects deeply.
Earlier, in November, her mother Min Bernardo reminded the public not to use Kathryn’s name or photo for fabricated online stories.
“Don’t twist the story para lang dumami ang viewers niyo. It’s unfair,” her mother said at the time.
Currently, Kathryn is busy taping for her upcoming drama ‘Someone, Someday’ alongside James Reid and Maja Salvador. The series marks her return to television in a major project this year.
