In an interview with PEP.ph, Kris Aquino admitted the reason why she turned down a cameo for Vice Ganda’s new film. She also said that she didn’t have a problem with the comedian impersonating her in Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad, an official entry for the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Vice always impersonates Kris on It’s Showtime. Kris admitted she doesn’t have a problem with Vice mimicking her.
“Of course, it’s always flattering that somebody as famous as Vice is still mimicking me, so thanks.”
The actress, revealed that she received an offer on doing a cameo role for the said film.
“They have actually asked me to do a cameo. But it was a kontrabida. So, sabi ko, ‘Ayoko kaya maging kontrabida.’ Hahaha! Tapos, sabi ko, ‘Marami akong brands na magagalit kapag nagkontrabida ako.’ I would have loved to do it. Pero sabi ko, ‘Ba’t ayaw niyo akong maging mabait?’ Hahaha!”
Kris added that she hasn’t seen Vice for so long even though they live near each other.
“We really haven’t seen each other even if we’re neighbors. Hindi kami nagtatagpo. Actually, kasi siguro iba rin talaga yung oras namin. Gising siya sa gabi, tulog kami sa gabi. So, yun. And busy siya nagsu-shooting. Panay shoot-shoot siya.”
