Derek Ramsay has been rumored to return to ABS-CBN Corporation after his contract with TV5. However, this hasn’t been confirmed yet. Jojie Dingcong, Derek’s manager, admitted that there will be two options for Derek. Either the actor will renew his exclusive contract with TV5 or sign for his return to ABS-CBN Corporation.
This will all come clear in 2018 when Derek’s contract with TV5 finally expires. In an interview with Showbiz Talk Ganern with DZRH, Derek, then, admitted that he stays loyal to the network.
“Sa TV 5 pa rin ako, respeto ko sa network ko na may contract pa rin ako sa kanila. So, buong-buo na sarili ko binibigay ko pa rin sa TV 5, kasi they’ve been good to me. So, my loyalty remains sa TV 5.”
Moreover, he acknowledged that his contract still stands. He will plan on his future steps after his contract with TV5.
“Hindi pa tapos ang kontrata ko. Pag tapos na ang kontrata ko at ayaw na nila sa akin, eh doon na tayo magplano kung ano ang gawin ko sa career ko.”
