Reports suggest that Jasmine Curtis-Smith will be Alden Richards’ new love team in GMA-7 series in 2018. However, this will both be a good and bad news for AlDub fans.
Alden will have a new series but Maine Mendoza won’t be included in it as his love interest. Apparently, when Jasmine finally fixes her releases papers from TV5, she and Alden will be paired in a series in GMA-7.
Before she got linked with Alden, she only has little comments here and there. But when news broke out, bashers already started on leaving hateful comments on Jasmine’s Instagram account. Although bashers don’t have any justification for hating on Jasmine. Some fans hate on another face between their idols.
However, Jasmine already played as a third person between Maine and Alden in their film, “Imagine You and Me,” in 2016. Jasmine plays as Clarissa, Andrew’s (Alden) ex-girlfriend who left him without any reason. Gara, a hardworking OFW in Italy, tried to help Andrew get over his ex-GF and a dog-sitter for a woman named Isay.
In the end, Gara puzzled the pieces together and concludes that Clarissa and Isay are the same person. Although, Isay had a reason to break-up with Andrew; she has leukemia. The film ended with a scene in Verona closing with a kissing scene between Andrew and Gara. Rumors also surfaced that Jasmine, Alden and Maine will work together again.
