The ‘Phenomenal Star” flew to Toronto, Canada for her partnership with the international make-up brand, MAC Cosmetics. The 22-year-old star is the first-ever Filipina to have a lipstick collaboration with the said cosmetic brand.
On her latest Instagram post, Maine shared her excitement about her new project as an international influencer of MAC Cosmetics.
She wrote, “So happy to let you guys know that I am creating my own lipstick with @maccosmetics! Feels surreal to be chosen as one of the influencers and to be the first Filipina to have a lipstick collab with MAC. (Thanks so much, @maccosmeticsph!)”
Maine shared how hard to make her desired lipstick shade, however, she is happy that she achieved the color she wanted.
“Creating your own lipstick from scratch is tricky but I am so glad I was able to achieve the colour I wanted. I am sure you guys are gonna love it!!! Can’t wait for it to be launched! YAAAAY #maccosmeticsph,” she added.
Maine documented her experience during the process of making her own lipstick on her Instagram stories. The photos were in black and white to keep the element of surprise on the lipstick shade of the Kapuso TV host.
In the past, the make-up brand has also collaborated with international artists like Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj for their personalized make-up line.
According to reports, the said lipstick collaboration of Maine and MAC Cosmetics will launch in April this year.
