In an interview of PEP.ph with Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador, she was surprised when asked about the rumored wedding of John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna. The 29-year old actress supports the controversial couple as long as they are happy together.
“Meron ba? Echosera ka! Buti pa alam mo. Ako, hindi ko alam,” Maja’s initial reaction upon asking about the wedding.
“Hindi ko alam. Whatever it is, as long as he’s happy. Ini-enjoy niya yung life. Wala akong dapat pigilan dun. And I think, tayong lahat, walang makakapigil kung masaya ang isang tao,” she added.
John Lloyd and Maja are both Star Magic artists, and also share the same handler from ABS-CBN’s talent arm.
With the 34-year old actor has been on “indefinite leave” from work as a Star Magic artist since October 2017, Maja wished nothing but good things for her friend.
“Let’s be happy. Let’s respect him. Maging masaya tayo. Tsaka, yun ang buhay, maging masaya ka,” she said.
In 2016, Maja and John Lloyd were rumored to have a romantic relationship after they were spotted together in Davao and in a cinema watching a movie together. However, both of them clarified that they are just good friends.
